Birdcage birthday card

This is a card that I made for a good friends birthday and I have to say that I think it's one of the best cards that I've made for a long time.

I started my covering the background in milled lavender distress in and then stamped the background in another shade of purple. I did the same with the birdcage topper, mounted them both onto some silver mirri card and attached it to a 5'x5' card blank. The brads, flower and the raffia ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the spray was from my crafty stash and the hat pin was handmade by my sister.

Fingers crossed my friend likes it.

Halloween goody bags

I thought I would make something a bit different this year for halloween rather than just having a bowl of sweets. I decided I would have a go at making some mini milk cartons and decorating them up using a 'trick or treat stamp', a backing paper that I made myself and some spooooky images that were cut out on the cricut.

I will try to get a template made up for the milk carton and put on here over the next couple of days
